What are the SMS and Email consent checkboxes for?

In some scenarios a Client may not wish to receive electronic communication. This could be for safety reasons or simply because that is their preference. These consent checkboxes are just an indicator and are merely to display helpful information about the client. 

Another reason to use these indicators is to help your practice stay in compliance with SPAM laws should your practice ever implement any automated messaging, such as appointment reminders or newsletters.
