How do I bill an Admin Fee (SCSAM)?
When you receive the Early Planning purchase order for your new client, you can bill for the admin fee.
Once the PO has been added to CMS, go to PURCHASE ORDERS
Click into the PO number
At the bottom of the page you will see BILL SCSAM
All fields are pre-filled including with today's date (you can change if needed)
CREATE & RETURN.
**You will need a Provider ID within CMS to bill for the admin fee - if the user billing for the admin fee is not ACC registered and does not have a provider ID, create one in the user profile eg. ADMIN and mark the user as INTERNAL.
**If the client has transferred from another supplier to you, you can now claim an ADMIN FEE.
This excludes standalone supported assessments, social work etc. - you must be the main supplier for the client.
Checking to see which POs have had Admin fees billed (SCSAM)
There is an easy check:
GO TO PURCHASE ORDERS
Click into SCS
If you have used the descriptions Early Planning and Wellbeing Plan on your POs when entering, you can filter down by using the word PLAN in description, then APPLY
Straightaway you can quickly see any gaps under the column BILLED SCSAM.
