Creating and Using PO Templates

Creating and Using the PO Templates (available on Premium CMS)

Click Create Template.

You will need to create a PO template for each type of PO and each level where valid.

1-5 if you have a psychiatrist in your practice, otherwise just 1-4

The title that you give the template will determine where it sits in the list and make a difference as to how quickly you can locate it when you are using the templates. Ie – avoid too many that start Wellbeing.

To use the template, go to your client in the usual way, - you will see that there is a down arrow so you can select “add from a template”

Click select, then when you get the dropdown list, start typing either the name of the PO type that you have used as a title, or even the level (works best with 3-5) and choose the correct option.

For your start and end dates, always use the dates associated with the report code eg.

SCPL2 start date 01 08 2023 End date 30 11 2023

These are your “default dates” and will auto populate within the PO lines.

The only service code lines you would need to physically add the start and end dates to are those that are different from the default date eg. DNA and closure.

At this point you will add only the start and end dates for the DNAs and Closure and add or subtract any line/s needed/not needed.

Notes.

There will be times when DNAs are added at Wellbeing Plan stage (initial support to wellbeing), if this is the case, you will manually add them.

When you get to the Long Term wellbeing, your PO template will have the DNAs already in as standard, and you will need to delete that line so that your providers do not have double the allocation.

Because there are 4 variants with Supported Assessment, perhaps choose the variation that you use most often within your practice, ie.

If you are mostly providing the assessor, create a PO template for the

SCAR and SCSA codes with just the levels of assessors you have in your practice.

If you are mostly providing the Lead provider, create a PO template for SCSAL and possibly the SCCS (continuation code) remembering that if the PO does not have these approved, you will need to delete the line each time.
