Change the Provider on a Client file

If the lead or primary provider for a client has changed, go to the client flle and click EDIT.

Scroll down to the field for PRIMARY PROVIDER and highlight the provider name, either then deleting or overwriting with the new provider, selecting from the dropdown option of provider names to replace the previous.

Once you have done this, go to the main client details page, scroll down to ACCESS, and remove the Provider's access.  If the provider you are removing access for is a secondary provider, you would only need this step of the process.
